Message from the status page reads LiveJournal may be unresponsive or slow to load due to some database problems we're experiencing. Our Operations staff is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

It's becoming a frequent occurence even before the potty Potter problem. Not what I paid for from a permanent account.

I thought it might be the whole Web was down because i was having problems with lots of sites, but that was because I was using the PC running Macafee (which has a fit at popups, cookies, you name it, it freezes).

Actually, that would be again! Since the post you're replying to was about the outage on the 18th. :-p

I still can't access it this evening... I'm wondering how long it's going to take the get the servers back up online after the power outage. And I'm wondering exactly what their hosting provider is going to end up doing to appease their customers, since this shouldn't have happened at all.
